An isolated and hidden village in Norfolk, East Anglia, it is The Laundry's induction, training and R&R facility. It was originally sequestered by the Ministry of Defence in 1940 for war purposes and concealed even then by redirecting local roads and erasing it from maps. It later passed to MI5 and after an indeterminate amount of time it was inherited by The Laundry.
Description[]
The village is on the sea-front, with cliffs on one side and thick hedges to the other two. It comprises of dormitories, training units and debriefing offices, converted from the ramshackle cottages and big farmhouse that made up the original structures of Dunwich.[1]
