Frederick Ironsides

Also known as Fred from Accounting, Frederick Ironsides was an employee of The Laundry in their accounts department, who routinely asked Bob Howard for IT advice.

He was mistakenly placed on a training course, "Introduction to Applied Occult Computing 104" when he should have been on a non-magical IT support course instead. He mistakenly believed he was being shown a made-up ritual when in fact he was present at a demonstration of a lesser summoning of a Nameless Horror.

Fred interrupts the delicate process, and becomes possessed, forcing Bob to kill him before he spreads the possession to others.
