MAGINOT BLUE STARS refers to the network of defences put in place by Her Majesty's Government - primarily under the auspices of The Laundry - to protect the United Kingdom in event of any of the NIGHTMARE scenarios (or an unprojected occurence of similar magnitude) coming to pass.
The widespread dissemination of SCORPION STARE enabled hardware into the UK's near ubiquitous CCTV coverage is a key example of a MAGINOT BLUE STARS project.
